This is one of the best books I have ever read. It makes more sense to me than the bible. READ IT!!! BECOME EDUCATED! HAVE YOUR EYES OPENED!
http://www.amazon.com/Gods-Eden-Will.../dp/0380718073 Yes, the cover is goofy. But I'm telling you it is thought provoking and prodigiously well-researched. I learned a lot about history. JEHOVAH WAS AN ALIEN! |

I finished the Happiness Hypothesis. Was an awesome first 7 chapters or so and then it got a little wavy. Overall, worth reading. Just finished sourly for me, anyway.

I just read Alas, Babylon. I'd always meant to read it but never had. It was good. Also read a collection of short stories called, "Captive Audience", by Dave Reidy. All the stories have a theme of performing (musically, acting, art, etc.) It was ok- hit and miss.
I just started reading Travesties by Tom Stoppard. |

Reading Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series because sometimes I just got to read some escapist stuff.

re-reading David Simon & Ed Burns' The Corner because it should be a civic duty to do so.

Just finished The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall. Really strange and awesome.
Now on to Pygmy by Chuck Palahniuk. Had a good laugh at Pride and Prejudice and Zombies mashup just before that, clever fun with a classic that I didn't really like that much as a classic. |
