2024 MLB Playoffs Thread (non-Royals)

Who's winning it this year?

This is a thread for non-Royal playoff games since I assume there will be a separate one for the Royals…

Is the Detroit trainer Mike McDaniel's brother? Looks a lot like him.

Happy for Detroit, but also kind of bummed. I REALLY wanted the chance to end the cheatin Stros season early.

Oh, well. Guess we'll have to settle for disappointing the city of Baltimore once again.

Is this just a 1 game play in or 3 game series? I don't remember the new rules since the Cardinals seem to not care anymore.

So where is this game being televised? Everything says ESPN 2 but I'm sitting on that channel currently and it's not showing.

3 game set.

Tigers HAD to win this one. And if they manage to do so...it feels like the Astros may be equally screwed.

These 3 game WC series depend so much on that first game. Had the Tigers lost with Skubal on the bump, they're were done. But things start to look equally bleak for Houston with as short as their SP staff is should Detroit hang on.

It's kinda strange.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the Brewers, but man... they sure do seem to always shit the bed in the playoffs. Not off to a good start again today...

Nice to see Milwaukee has wasted no time getting in postseason form.

If the Bills played baseball, they'd be the Brewers.
