Cowboys defense may be the worst in the league. Micah Parsons is a JAG (this year).

Man - the issue with Dallas is nothing but consistency.

That recovery and tackle on Robinson there was a hell of a play by the DB. And next drive 3 Dallas Defenders will airmail easy tackles to create 30 free yards for NY.

I mean it's not just game to game or drive to drive with these guys. It's play to play. One play they'll look like world beaters and the next play they look like they'd give up 40 points in the MAC.

I cannot figure out this Dallas team at all.

I don't agree - he's had some really nice play designs tonight. Jones has had some iffy ball placement on a couple, Robinson dropped a potential TD and the Dallas defender just made a great play to recover and get over to make a rock solid open-field tackle.

The Giants have looked frisky tonight. They're playing much better than I expected.

Part of it is coaching, imo. This team doesn't seem to understand situational football, especially in the biggest moments, and that's on coaching, again imo. Call it lack of focus, or whatever, it boils down to dumb mistakes across the board, all the way up to the HC and the QB.

Giants execution has been super sloppy tonight. I don't know if that falls on Daboll or talent.

That last screen play was pretty nasty. He's called a some decent calls.

It's weird to me how quickly McCarthy quits on his running game.

Dowdle has some wiggle, solid burst and more power than you'd expect from someone his size. I think he can run a bit, to be honest.

Give that guy 15-18 carries and he can get you 65-70 yards, IMO. And that's gonna make things a hell of a lot easier for Dak, who simply doesn't present the sort of downfield threat to create the necessary space on his own.

Running to set up the pass is mostly a myth. But when your QB isn't gonna fit a ball into tight windows downfield, you need to find a way to create some space down there. And quitting on the running game in the 1st quarter most nights just isn't the way to do that.

Total speculation on my part, but just reading the tea leaves, i think Dallas starting with Jerruh walks talks and acts like they're special and they'll just win just because.

They don't grind. Sometimes you see it with the Chiefs players, roll in like we should win this and give 80%. Unfortunately for them they don't have Mahomes.
