If Fisher didn't get death threats his first season, I'd be slightly surprised

MAYBE.... we could put a pool at left tackle and have Kingsley jump out of the pool and block someone.

Which means two things. 1) The LT this season MUST be either Wanya or preferably Donovan Smith. But they both need to be on the roster so that Kingsley can be removed from any chance at cracking the lineup this year. 2) We cannot go into 2025 trusting Kingsley to be the LTOTF. Veach is going to have to address this position as priority #1 entering the offseason. It might even cost us Trey Smith or Thuney, but something has to be done. |

Like after today, I’ll consider anything salvaged as a win with this player but there is not a chance in hell that he becomes a sure starter at LT by next year. Wanya was better as a rookie. Smith needs to be brought back as the starter, and Wanya the backup. Kingsley can redshirt the rest of the year and hopefully become functional as even just a swing tackle for the future. It’s pick 63, those don’t usually become franchise LTs. But damn, ya gotta be better than this. |

I’m no Joshua Brisco fan, but what he writes here is accurate: https://x.com/jbbrisco/status/1855749574104604917?s=46
If we knew Wanya would stay healthy all year, that would probably be fine enough to still win. A veteran may not be any better. But we cannot risk what happens if Wanya gets hurt again, especially in the middle of the playoffs. You can’t see what we’ve seen from Kingsley and allow that to be your depth plan for injury at either tackle spot. |

At least we were still able to run a normal high flying offense with Cam. The Chiefs clearly don't trust Kingsley enough for that. If we tried to run a 2019 offense with Kingsley in with all the deep drop backs and deep plays, Mahomes would die. |

Kingsley looks like a guard, which I guess is fine since we’ll need one of those soon.

Give the kid an offseason to see what he looks like, but to put him in the same category as Skyy after 9 games is overreacting. I am not against bringing in a veteran like Smith as insurance for the rest of the season though. |

Dude was an absolute turnstile out there today.
You can’t ask Pat to go out there and perform with Kingsley protecting his blindside. Absolutely no way. |

He’s the Bwillie of left tackles. Only difference is Kingsley hasn’t hit his ceiling.

Just put Noah Gray out there to block. He can’t be worse than this.
