But let's not forget. He can do anything that Mahomes can do. Let's not forget that. We need to remind him of it every single day.

My wife's family has some Bears fans and we all went to the game together. It's impossible to explain the energy and optimism before the game and then the complete turnaround by halftime. People had completely given up on Caleb and the season. It was pretty amusing to watch.

But yeah, he looked absolutely terrible. Getting happy feet in the pocket, missing deep throws, lack of accuracy on routine ones. It was so, so bad.

Miraculous they came out of that game with a win despite not having a single offensive TD.

They reeeeally shouldn't have wasted his first season with that lunkhead defensive coach.

That performance is the reality of starting a rookie week 1 on a bad team.

They said during the broadcast that Caleb Williams was the first 1st round rookie to win in week 1 since David Carr in 2002.

The difference is no rookie QB has had a WR room as talented as Moore/Allen/Odunze.

Exactly. Based on that, his preseason play, the hype in general, and the defense they were playing, that was an extremely disappointing first game.

He's looked like the Angel Reese of the NFL, completely overmatched.

Miracle that the Bears collectively didn't collapse after that first half. Thank god Will Levis is a ****ing dipshit as well.

Yeah that pick 6 where Levis just underhand chucked it was one of the worst plays I’ve ever seen by a QB… He should of been benched for that..

I won’t disagree, but it’s not like the whole squad is loaded.

Rookies shouldn’t be expected to light it up in their first start given almost any circumstances.

That’s hilarious. Turns out playing QB is hard.
