They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

In what ****ing universe is an elite defense not part of "building around your once in a lifetime QB"?

Yeah, I mean we’re not talking about the sky falling down. There will always be a debate on how much you tilt defense vs offense. We chose to tilt defense and it worked because our defense is ****ing awesome. But at the same time… I think people took for granted the sacrifices we made on offense to achieve that result.

I lean toward the mindset that Andy and mahomes can take a good offense and make them dominant, to where they can carry a solid defense. That’s just a personal preference. But some were of the belief that they can carry anybody and I hope we’ve realized that there’s a bare minimum of talent you gotta give these guys to work with.

Here's a fun experiment. If you could trade Chris Jones for a 2nd and 4th and use those picks plus a 2025 3rd to move into the mid teens to draft Rome Odunze, would you do it?

Somebody get MahomesMagic an Orlando Scandrick blow-up doll for Christmas. He clearly misses those years.

I honestly think we’re making too big a fuss about the money thing. We can afford to keep jones especially since he lost a TON of leverage when he’s a year older. While we still have big red and kelce, let’s take advantage of having these generational type talents

Having a mediocre offense with a bottom of the barrel WR room and punting the ball to trust your defense is not maximizing a generational QB talent in Mahomes.

Any year where Mahomes is not running a top 3 offense in his prime is a failure of roster management.

That's an unrealistic standard no QB has met.

Sorry, but expecting Mahomes to run an offense better than Alex Smith's last year isn't that great of an ask.

Mahomes > Alex Smith

Guess most of those Patriot rings are just a waste after all.

Is that supposed to hurt my feelings or something? Like...oh, some idiot is calling me old, so I'm supposed to be offended?
