It's not even about year one. It's about accepting what Nebraska football is going to be now, forever. The days of being a perennial powerhouse are over.

That's the problem with moving into the Big 10. They're always going to be the guppie in that pond.

They probably rented them - but regardless - how is that any different that paying for any other uniform? I thought it was hilarious. Well done Iowa State - as much as that pains me to say.

The Husker fans you're around are a small minority that every fan base has. Look up Huskerboard or Huskers on Reddit. I can assure you they arent calling for Frosts head.

The NCAA may also take a hand in keeping the playing field even. That's really what we're seeing, aside from Alabama: parity. Which is I think good for the survival of the sport as a whole. No more building dynasties may suck for the likes of Ohio State (Michigan hasn't been one in decades...) but if it helps keep eyes on the sport and butts in the seats, then it's worth it. |

Things are looking up for Nebraska since joining the Big 10. They are now legitimately a worse football program than Iowa and one of the laughingstocks of the Big 10. No different than Indiana or Northwestern. But hey - your basketball team is on the rise! 0-1 in the NIT last year - but at least they made the postseason.

Hawkeyes come in at #19 in latest poll! Going to be big time favorites in every game remaining except for Penn State. I don't really see how Iowa DOESNT go 9-2 at the bare minimum.
vs Maryland @ Penn State @ Purdue vs Northwestern @ Illinois vs Nebraska |

I'll root for nebraska against ohio state. That's about it. I really hope Bethune Cookman somehow beats them.
