Yesterday, just had the routine bbq, tho' small and just for two. ( Big one is this coming weekend). It was the usual — just burgers, hot dogs, slaw, beans and fries. You've seen a million pics of those so no need to post one, which I did not take.
I did finish it off later with a homemade cherry cobbler for Memorial Day. It was hot as hell and humid outside where we ate earlier, so we ate this inside, otherwise the ice cream would have never lasted. It's crust is a cornmeal one, which was surprisingly good for a change-up from standard fare. |
