10 tackles, 1 TFL
James Conner: 10 carries for 26 yards. Eno Benjamin had the 16 yard run, but only 12 yards on his other 3 carries. Murray and McSorley each had a long run (21 and 14), but otherwise combined for 14 yards on 6 carries. |

Gay really seemed to stand out, though. Bolton just did all those Bolton things; always where he was supposed to be and making the right decision. Gay's athleticism, OTOH, was on display in a big way. He seemed to be truly sideline to sideline. |

Even as a Bolton/Missouri fan, I was a little skeptical of the pick. I wasn't sure his instincts and processing speed would translate at this level like they had in college, but he's making me look stupid for doubting that.

I assumed he had a cramp as he came back after the play he missed. Saw someone say something about it, Andy didn't mention it post game.

I don't know. If ever there was going to be a plug and play LB (due to his insane intelligence and instincts), it was Bolton. I'm usually a little leery of Mizzou players in the NFL, but Bolton was pretty clearly going to be a slam dunk.

He kind of reminds me of Derrick Johnson. So does Gay.
That's a good thing. |
