Gano is 14-25 (56%) from 50+ yards in his career.
He made the first one.

Also, if Semen throwing picks an anomaly? He's thrown one in every game so far going back to the preseason, and his TD/INT ratio in college was terrible.

Agreed on 1-0 is 1-0 no matter how you got there.

It's only a one game sample but what I saw from KC against a mediocre SD team at home yesterday didn't give me any reason to think the AFCW isn't very winnable for Denver this year.

That's because you're judging SD based on last year.

They aren't the same team when Allen and their OL is healthy. Gordon is much improved in year two.

Mebane was also an excellent addition to their defense.

Anyone that takes divisional games lightly..doesn't understand football. Wasn't surprised it to come down to wire...just not in the way it did. KC came out flat then turned it on. If I were a Denver fan, I would be very concerned about the Ware/Charles combo against that suspect run defense. Ware put up 190 total yards...with most of it in just a half. That and this offenses ability to put up 30 points in just over one quarter.

Denver looked like shit for the first 3 quarters too...then figured the only way to stop Newton was by injuring him.

I agree with this.

To SD's credit, they are a good team when they are healthy. It sucks that they lost Keenan Allen again. The guy was beating Marcus Peters a lot yesterday.
