He was a bit indecisive early, settled in then the drops happened

It was all timing stuff, wouldn’t worry too much

My internet coaching/GM hat solution to the WR problem

1) MVS and Watson are roll players with ceilings. MVS is a deep threat and should be used in that roll, as a 3rd or 4th WR. Watson is a 5th or 6th WR that is a special teams guy. Neither should be given snaps over anyone else on this roster.

2) Skyy Moore problem. It's clear he doesn't have the trust of Mahomes and this coaching staff. Maybe it's a playbook issue and he's just not picking it up but until he can earn that trust he's benched. I'd consider packaging him for a draft pick if it doesn't look like it's going to click.

3) K.T. I'd move him to Hardeman status until he can prove he deserves more, consistently in play and health wise.

4) Start Ross and Rice and give Richie James a chance at WR 3.

Simplify the offense FFS.
Spags had to simplify the defense last year with a young roster, so why hasn't Andy adjusted to a young WR core? It's hard to bag on an offense that has gone to 3/5 SB appearances with 2 victories and is consistently the top offense in the league, but...it shouldn't take two years for a rookie WR to show whether or not he can play in the league. It's either coaching or scouting...or maybe they both suck in this regard.

They may seriously consider making #1 WR a priority next off-season via trade or FA. The offense needs it and I don't trust the coaching staff or front office to draft skill positions.

Rice Ross and James easy. Not easy because they're good already, but they have a lot more potential than the others.

That guy is likely going to miss even more time during the season. Until he shows that he can stay healthy for 2 games in a row, I don't know why anyone would count on him or be high on him.

Should have kept Tyreek. One of the reasons for letting him walk was to keep Jones and he may be leaving anyway

I often wonder how many more Super Bowls the Chiefs would have won since letting go of Tyreek, if he was still here.

I'd say at least 3.

For those of us that wanted Pickens over Moore (yes, I'm in that group), this is a pretty big reason why he's not a Chief as we speak. Dude is a MASSIVE **** and already seems to be well on his way to speed running his talented diva Steelers WR arc. Hell, he's already on the verge of constant tantrums on the sidelines and it's literally week one.

He’s only been in the league for a season and already he’s been a walking red flag. It’s no surprise tomlin took him in. Look at his track record for the type of attitudes he brings in at WR.

I think there's talent so yeah they need to get it together but besides the youth there we also have two new OTs and they play a lot different then the last pair. And without Kelce on the field it looked to me like everyone was pressing. Hopefully it will all come together sooner than later but this is more than just a WR issue.
