What's your favorite candy?

I'm partial to salt water taffy (the real stuff, not the shit from Wal-Mart) and Sifers Valomilk.

We slow-simmer the ingredients together to condense the rich flavors, and bring a smooth, gently chewy texture to our candies that’s easy on the teeth and impossible to resist. We still do most everything by hand, just like when we first began making our famous candies, so you can taste the nostalgia in every bite. Our 8-oz. box contains 8 pieces each of Apple-Walnut and Apricot-Walnut candies.
Good lord. Even your taste in candy is obscure.

Can't be TOO obscure. I think I first got into them when they were on sale at Target.

I used to visit the Cashmere factory as a part of my job supporting PLCs. They get my vote!

You will never find "real" stuff in Kansas City. You have to go somewhere where there is actual salt water, like Santa Cruz, and get some that has been freshly pulled off the machine the same day.

Salt water has nothing to do with it. Just the ingredients used, (not salt water), and the pulling process.

Assuming that we're talking mainstream candies here, as opposed to Godiva chocolates, I would have to say that my favorite chocolate candies are Peanut Butter M&Ms and Caramello bars. My favorite non-chocolate candy is the strawberry (pink wrapper) Starbursts.
