The 49ers one I get but it would just be a bit boring and I think it would just be more satisfying to add another team to the belt. Also, I wouldn’t foresee their fans convincing themselves they can win. They would expect a loss and that’s no fun.
The Cowboys fans would absolutely convince themselves they can win. They also would know this is probably the only chance they are getting so they would be extremely high strung and distraught upon losing. And losing to Mahomes who grew up cheering for them would add a layer of frustration for them. It would also be enjoyable watching 49ers fans having to choose between wanting either us or the Cowboys to win. Both are terrible options for them. Fans of teams like the Lions and Packers upon losing would probably convince themselves they still have more chances so the blow to the franchise and fans wouldn’t be quite as severe as a team like the Cowboys. |

I would love for 49ers fans to think of us like some mythical creature that lurks in the woods. If you get too close the creature will pull you in and give you a slow agonizing death. Just stay in your safe yard, well away from the creature. Healthy fear.

They've been crushed twice, beating them further holds no joy... we need a new giant to slay, and its Dallas America's Team, we'll put their name to the test... |

I thought of Dallas too, but ultimately settled on Green Bay. We owe them.

Kinda surprised to see so many going with Detroit.
I think it's clearly gotta be the Packers or the Cowboys. Flip of the coin says Cowboys, but either one would be enormously satisfying, for wholly different reasons. After that, I gotta go with either the Giants or the Bears, simply because it would also be pretty satisfying to knock out media and fandom juggernauts from those cities, and maybe suck a little of the provincialism out of their sails. I'd toss in L.A., but I don't think they really give a ****. |

Beating the 49ers again would be fun because they would have had a dynasty crushed by Reid/Mahomes.

Agreed. I just ran down the list and the hate meter didn’t move for any of those teams.
I suppose I still have a slight sore spot for the Bucs after LV but that hate stench follows Brady more than Tampa. I generally root for underdogs so I’d love for one of those garbage teams to get hot and meet us there: Falcons, Cardinals, Panthers, Seahawks, Saints, etc. More realistically, I guess I wouldn’t mind beating the Lions. They were talking a lot of shit after their week 1 win last year. Plus they’re still on the up so crushing their souls in the SB wouldn’t razz up the fans too much. Like their recent NFCCG loss, they’ll just be happy to have been there. Beating the 49ers again would also be hilarious, especially if they had another 10-point lead and we didn’t get called for a single offensive holding penalty once more lol I know 9ers fans are salty about that |

I gotta go with the Lions or the Packers. As much as I would like to break the hearts of Cowboys fans, I just would rather not see them even make it back to the Superbowl.
