Mahomes was incredible throughout the game. Again, one more example of him elevating his play in the playoffs. Repeat this and let the defense do its thing, we cruise to the SB.

Best part? No major injuries! Rice was a little banged up but came back and made more plays. Love the win! But the fact that they came out of there intact is what has me amped going forward!

Honestly, once we got up 16-7, with this defense, I knew it was just a matter of getting to 00:00 because Miami wasn't coming back.

Essentially a perfect game for this team sans the fumble at the end.
Control the clock, lean on the defense, find ways to get the ball in Rice's hands and don't turn the ball over they will be a tough out. |

Sorry for the late post, I took my dad home with the roads being crap right now....
Now for the game... THAT was a legit Superbowl caliber defense. It sort of reminds me of the mid 90's when Carter and Hasty were in the secondary. Along with BIG Dirty Dan, Neil Smith, and Derrick Thomas getting after the QB. Rashee Rice looks better every week, I think we have our #1 for years to come. Pacheco..... Did somebody in the endzone slap his mother? He runs like he's on a mission to pop somebody in the mouth. There's nothing not to like about the kid. I'm not sure who I'm looking forward to playing next week. One side of me wants to end the season for the NFL's plan B face of the league in Buffalo. Then the other side wants to go against Stroud and shut the media up about the "next Mahomes". All in all, it's been a GREAT day. And my dad has made it another year to watch the playoffs with us (**** cancer). GO CHIEFS!!! Let's get another Lombardi to add to Mahomes resume when he eventually gets his Golden jacket in the HOF. |

Dolphins are lucky KC didn't light it up in the red zone. This easily could have been 42-7. Hell 42-0 minus one play that wasn't even a good pass.

All credit to Andy Reid’s frozen Wilford Brimley mustache. When in full bloom it emits powers that are beyond our understanding as mere mortals. Like a portal to another dimension.
