Buy a native 120Hz enhanced like the LG "tru motion" if you can, the TCL is not going to make you happy gaming.* The Costco C803 is very slow according to reviews, Their better models are adequate if you do not mind streaking and on a 55" TV your going to notice. *Shop for TCL P607 if you want to save money but it is an 60Hz enhanced to 120Hz but is much faster than your $350 TCL. I'm not an avs guy, but I have a Samsung plasma downstairs and always preferred the picture to LCD.
I have an LCD 1080p TV and it never really looked right, kind of fake. Then I finally found a reasonable priced OLED tv, and it really looks great resolution wise, and gives me that plasma color depth. I love my LG oled tv, got it off amazon, last year's models to same some $$. https://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronic.../dp/B01CDF9S1G |

If I could find a used 1080P plasma that was lightly used I would buy it in a heartbeat for my bedroom. (Some movies you don't want in 4K) I held on to my dinosaur 32" CRT's as long as they would live for the bedrooms. https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-TC-.../dp/B00BC4SNMK |

Football is the best but the HD concerts are pretty good also. Got a great sound system to play them on. the Chiefs group down here is coming over on Sunday to watch the game.

There are 8” tall windows in the room where I️ need the tv with a 3 foot drywall gap above them and another 5” worth of windows. We have window coverings in the lower, but not upper windows. Plus there isn’t a good spot to hang a projector. |
