Skyy is a lost cause. I’ve said this before that I think Ross got elevated because he can shadow dhop. We may need him to keep dhop fresh or, god forbid, use him in a pinch. I think mahomes will learn to become a different qb who begins to trust his WRs to do more than he has recently. I think Ross more than any of our other WR depth benefits the most from this.

I predicted about 60 yards a game for around 650-700 yards here. Might be quite a bit under on that.

He looks incredible out there!

All around pro, he and Mahomes look like they’ve been playing together for years.

Looking like an absolute steal!!!

In the post game he admitted that he might have ran the wrong route.

An old pro just being honest and humble is refreshing. He seems very grateful to be here and appreciative of the coaches and team for cramming him with the info he needs to try to get up to speed.

He's also making it painfully obvious that we haven't had a set of hands like this for decades. Those big ass paws have ball magnets in them.

When’s the last time Patrick had a receiver actually make a play for him on a fifty-fifty ball like the one Hopkins made on the long throw last night?

He’s a breath of fresh air for the offense.

Holy shit, he's better than I ever could have imagined. He's not like any pass catcher this team has ever had. If he was here to start the season I think there is a very high chance he gets another all pro season.

I think 800 yds/10 TDs is a real possibility. Depends on exactly when JJSS comes back, and whether Andy keeps dialing up 6+ targets to Worthy for the rest of the season, but I feel like it's not that big a reach.

I mean kelce… kinda. Tyreek a few times. These guys are elite talents but just a different skill set. In terms of pure contested catches I don’t think we’ve really had a dhop. And that’s what I want for Mahomes… when he feels pressured just chuck it up and make your WR work for it. And sometimes you need some instant quick hitters whether that’s a quick slant or deciding to throw a jump ball right away no matter what.

I wasn't high on Hopkins and argued like a dumbass about what type of impact he could have and if he avoids getting hurt, then I have to say I was completely and totally wrong.

If he keeps this up, then he could be as important of a weapon as Moss was with Brady. I really hope he plays another season, because I would love to see him play a complete season with him and Mahomes on the same page.
