I don't know what you were watching .. it wasn't a bad game.

The bad 4th down pass to Hardman, and maybe 2 other balls in the dirt.

Everything else was busted plays on 1 read designs, or just really good play by the chargers defense.

Fumble and interception were both pretty lousy plays on his part.

I used to read them. Now I avoid them like the plague. If we lose a game in embarrassing fashion, I usually just avoid this place entirely for a couple days. Its just not worth it.

I can't blame that on Pat.

The fumble was more good defense. It happens... To every QB. Ever.

We had Alex Smith racking up 250/1/0 every week for five seasons and somehow we now have **** heads who use their time and energy nitpicking Mahomes when he goes for 410/3/1. Make it make sense!!!!

I have been guilty of game day emotions, but I have never had irrational thoughts about our QB. To many years being a Chief fan to take Mahomes for granted.
Generational QB and we are dam fortunate to have him.

I don’t fault DRM08 for that last one. That seemed pretty likely at the time.

Probably won't happen, because knee-jerk planet, but still very interesting to see how easily a lot of people just give up on the team and Mahomes especially, given what we've seen the man do.

This should not only remain in the lounge, it should be stickied as well.
Yeah, it's been going on as long as CP has existed, so while I hold no belief threads like this will help, as someone who reads and posts in many GDTs I have no problem in calling it out.

The "game over" thing really seemed to become a common thing maybe 3-5 years ago and for a while seemed like a contest to see who early in a game someone would call it.... not sure if that's what people are doing or if they really are that big of chicken littles.

And this place is notorious for taking one win or loss and extrapolating it to infinity, and even that seems like it's a contest these days to take not just one win or loss and acting like the Chiefs will continue to win or lose forever, but one quarter or one ****ing play.... combined with the "game over" game.

Some people will never learn and we shouldn't ever stop laughing at them.

Such a crap thread. Guess what, each and every one of those posters are happy the chiefs won. Calling out people for being down on the team when they don't play well, in a game thread, is a real dick move.

Decades of because chiefs is embedded in them. That's not their fault.

We all have our moments.

That wasn't luck by Nwosu. He played that perfectly and Pat should've read that and went to Hill crossing the field. CEH probably doesn't get the first down anyway because the CB is breaking on him.

And I'll just point out we banned ~6 people from that thread, which could be a GDT record (it's almost always fewer than like 2, I would guess)..... so, the timing of this thread is fitting as that thread was especially painful to read.
