Your AFC West Predictions

Will the Chiefs go all in or coast to the playoffs/

Chiefs 12-5 I see some coasting.

Chargers 10-7 With Harbaugh Chargers will not Charger & win some close
games Wild Card

Donkeys 9-8 Yep. Coaching makes a difference.

Faiders 6-11 QB is a mess and no depth. S

And that doesn't even account for the fact that their defense is pure liquid shit, they'd literally need Bosa and Mack to get 20 sacks a piece to be a middle of the pack unit.
We’ve literally seen this for years dude. Look no further than Jim’s brother in Baltimore bc it’s gonna look a lot like that.

They have maybe the best bookend tackles in the league. Slater is really good and Alt is gonna even better. They also have Zion Johnson inside who is really good.

Say what you want about their WR’s but it’s gonna the Ravens West and that OL is good enough to dictate running the ball and giving the QB time. And not to mention that Herbert is significantly better than any QB John Harbaugh has ever had.

Defense still has Bosa, Mack, James, Asante Samuel Je and that LB Harbaugh drafted from Michigan fits really well.

Do not underestimate what coaching, winning the LOS and a good QB will do.
Again his brother has been running a team like this with bad WR rooms for years. It’s the same type of philosophy.

Can you please give us Bo's projected rookie year final stat line?

BO mania is in full effect because the regular season hasn't started yet. Preseason hype is real.

He'll throw for 3800 yards, 24 TD's with only 7 picks. He'll also rush for 290 yards and 3 TD's. Dink and dunk all over the place.

That’s pretty close to what I think. I said Mac Jones rookie year for Bo which this is pretty close to. He’ll struggle against good defenses and put up numbers against bad teams.

The problem is he’s almost at his ceiling so I don’t expect him to be much better than that in the future

The AFC West other than our beloved Chiefs is just not very good:

And his career playoff record makes him top-10 among active HCs, top-6 in winning percentage in the playoffs.

He seems unorthodox, but he gets results, without the benefit of stacked rosters.
I looked it up once and there is a post floating around here with all the numbers. The only guys to coach in the league, take a break and have success, are Pete Carroll (I don’t think you can count his first round ****ery as a stint. He just got bombed, but whatever) and Joe Gibbs. Joe Gibbs won 3 Super Bowls. Then when he came back for 4 years made the playoffs twice and won 1 game. Gibbs is a better coach than Harbitch**** and the dude STRUGGLED.

Maybe he’ll have success, but it’s not like he was a great NFL coach that needed a change of scenery. He’s been out of the league 9 years and is a 60 year old man now. Kind of a lot’s happened.

Plus when Carroll made the switch USC recruited itself and Pete just coached. That’s not the world Harbitch**** is leaving. It was 100% recruiting all the time and now he has to coach grown ass men. Thats a lot bigger step.

He might do well, but he’s got a lot working against him.

Not sure what the criteria for the list was, but Dick Vermeil had to be close to making a list of taking a break and coming back and having success.

I don't think going undefeated is an important goal. Consecutive SB's is the goal.

True enough. Forgot about him. He had success, but he was back for 8 years, made the playoffs twice and won 3 total playoff games. That's not some juggernaut dudes are suggesting Harbitch**** to be. Like I said, he may be awesome, but there isn't much for precedent for it.
