Cox suckers just raised my cable-internet bill 23%

I was expecting a raise but not nearly 25%. My car insurance just went up about $32 too

Time to change my auto but I'm hostage to Cox in my community. ****ing thieves.

My electric actually went DOWN since they fixed my A/C by about $20-40.

I hate inflation!

Anyone else getting gut punched?

Google Fiber + YTTV and various streaming services I will have for certain shows. It works out just fine. I don't ever watch TV ideally but do fine targeting things I want to watch.

Yesterday Cox fiber rolled out a huge upgrade here that crashed and burned. Went about 10 hours no TV or Internet.

TV back up this morning but still sketchy and some channels do not load yet.

Internet running but ****ed up and it appears they scrubbed all the cache and did a major DNS reset.

Google not recognizing these sites.

Now trying to access many of my work sites or click into news articles won't load.

Chiefsplanet is nearly dead on my wifi.

****ing Cox suckers strike again!

I’m at $65 for a GB of fiber. It’s an introductory offer so sure to go up at some point soon.

Change your DNS to Google 8.8.8.8 or OpenDNS or whatever.

DirecTV is raising their rates in October as a gesture of appreciation for denying their customers ESPN/ABC for 13 days this month.
