Excited about an upcoming fight? Want to make predictions, or just give people a heads-up that there are some fights on? We can do it here.

(Also a good place to complain, dicuss, and agrue about the outcomes)

Agreed. Mighty Mouse clearly won the fight, I had it 49-46, but Tim Elliott won a round and he was a live opponent throughout the fight. DJ was going for submissions the entire fight and couldn't finish the fight. Tim Elliott should clearly be top 10

Time for Might Mouse to be beaten into a bloody pulp by Cruz.

Thought the Cejudo fight was best fight of night. Had it a draw with the ridiculous point deduction, even with the warning, that second one was clearly incidental.. Have no idea how one judge had it 30-26.

Really, the last three fights out paced my expectations.

He wants to break Silva's record for title defenses first. I think he needs 2 more

Tim Elliott almost missed weight and gave up his title shot. The morning of the weigh-ins, the weight cut was so painful that he told his coaches he was done and didn't want to cut any more weight. His coaches told him to shut up and convinced him to get back in the sauna.

First embedded is up. Confirmed Cerrone's eye injury is movie magic, and he was dedicated enough to put makeup on it every morning to keep people freaked out.

However, he got an enormous BMF neck tattoo, which I don't know bout that.

edit: oh, and Cowboy's fishing in Cabo the week before his fight.

There is a lot going on this weekend

Friday

8pm - (Fightpass) - VFC, pretty decent B-level promotion, but you probably won't watch because...

8pm - (Fightpass) - UFC Fight Night 102 in Albany, no TV, fightpass only. Yes, there are two fightpass-only cards starting at the same time. I have no idea why the UFC would put some other promotion's card on fightpass at the same time as their own card. Maybe they were contractually obligated and screwed up the scheduling. Main event is cool, but aside from that its almost all prospects.

Saturday

12:30 pm - (Fightpass/3pm $30 PPV) - Glory Kickboxing: Rico vs Badr. I don't know very many kickboxers, but even I have heard of Badr Hari, and they seem to think they have a card compelling enough to try to sell it as a cheap PPV. The main event is a heavyweight title fight that kickboxing fans seem to be really hyped for.

3pm - (Spike) - Bellator 168. Smart move by Bellator, they didn't want to go head to head with the UFC, so they figured they could pre-game it for hard core fight fans who would then switch over to UFC. But when I looked at the burnt offering they are calling a fight card, I'm thinking maybe I'd rather see Glory. This card looks like hell even by Bellator standards.

5:30 pm - (Fightpass/7pm FS1/9pm PPV) - UFC 206. Casual fans will be out on this one, but a lot of hard core fans are going to buy this. Without a real title fight and Cowboy on the card, I figured this would be a BWW card. Interesting enough to want to watch at a bar, but not enough to buy. Then I looked at the card, and forget about titles, the last 4 fights are good and the last 3 look like pure violence and madness. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do, I'm seeing this, just not sure if I'll be watching it at home.

Sunday

Nothing accessible or worth mentioning. Go watch football.

lol, Anthony Pettis missed weight by 3 pounds. Holloway is still fighting for a fake belt, but if Pettis wins, then there will be no interim FW champion. Its the first time someone failed to make weight for a UFC title fight since 2007.

If he can't be motivated to make weight for a pseudo-title fight then Dana needs to tell Pettis to stay in LW where he belongs.

Spectacular wheel kick KO on the fightpass prelims. I'm sure they'll replay it tonight if they need to fill time.

Main card about to start. Fake title aside, there are some pretty good fights on this card.
