He has not come within 100 yards of that total since. With Houston in 2022, the Miami alum caught 20 passes for 257 yards.

Lawrence, 25, has been with five teams since August 2023. The former Cardinals fourth-round pick, who started 13 games with his original team from 2020-22, did not make Arizona’s first Jonathan Gannon-run roster last year and caught on with the Dolphins’ practice squad. He then bounced to the Panthers and Texans’ taxi squads. The Broncos gave him a reserve/futures contract in January.

Getting cut by the Donks has to be valuable in at least one aspect - the aspect of closure. You hear stories of regret from a lot of NFL retirees because they wonder if they might have hung them up too soon. Maybe they could've played another season or two. But when they can't make a laughable, pathetic roster assembled by the most hapless GM in all of organized team sports, they truly know that they had absolutely nothing left to give.

Remember when the Chiefs were “stuck in the division with EmbaRuss”, and we all poopooed Knowshit, and then he disappeared during both seasons were we’re stuck with him? Oh yeah and we won both SBs while we were stuck in the division with EmbaRuss too!

Yes. He actually directed that at me, after I told him that HE was STUCK with Russ. Then he, of course, never accepted a ban bet that I or anyone else posed.
