Bo Nix is so old… back in Nov 2019, his #15 Tigers beat #5 Bama when they had Mac Jones, Waddle, Najee Harris and Henry Ruggs.

Let’s all be honest.

There is no QB at any position in the draft that Denver could have taken that would result in anyone here saying “good pick”.

Here's what I said in December about QBs in the 1st round, I'm hoping Nix is who I was unknowingly talking about.

Nix is the lowest ceiling QB of the top 6 or 7. Now Brock Bowers may not reach his full potential in LV but they didnt panic and take the 6th or 7th ranked QB at #13. I think Atlantas Penix at #8 was bad too but hes got a higher ceiling than Nix. Best case scenario is youve got yourself a reliable dink and dunk game manager.
Nailed it.

If the Broncos ended up with any of the consensus top 4 QBs, I would've said good/solid pick

At #12 you just go BPA or another position of need, one where the top 5 prospects at that position arent already gone. If Denver couldve got back into the 2nd and got Nix there after getting a blue chip prospect at 12 it would be so bad. This just wasnt the year to be a QB needy team sitting outside the top 3. I feel Penix and McCarthy were taken too soon as well but Nix was the least attractive of all just due that low ceiling. Just a low value pick at 12.

Yes and there is a game where JD and Aiyuk defeated Herbert at Oregon.

I don’t disagree with the thought process… but they apparently really like him, so if you’ve done your homework and he’s 3 on your list. Go for it.

If we took anyone else at #12, Nix would have been taken at #13.
