So, will he be pushing for any more home-and-homes with the Rockets in the near future?

Just seems weird that with Mizzou's horrendous non-con slate the next few years, he woudln't at least consider picking up a mid major with a pulse. I don't know how MU fans are going to swallow the ticket bill when it comes in the mail, looking at those garbage schedules.
At least they get to play the big boys. Tennessee, Vandy, Florida are just mega games LULZ |

One of those is a non-con game against Arkansas State, which is actually one of the better and more consistent non-BCS teams around over the past 3-4 years (including a couple of 10-win seasons). I think that qualifies as a mid-major with a pulse. That's actually a BETTER program, probably, than Toledo. Gee, you think MAYBE Pinkel was being kind to the school that gave him his first coaching gig when he said it was "too good."? Pretty hard to call a slate "Horrendous" when only 25 percent of it is known. Unless you're exaggerating to make a point. |

They think the world likes, and respects them outside one fan base. This is of course nonsense as the Big 12, Arky, Il all dislike them too and make fun of them.
Surely the KU guy who brought up their garbage schedule was part of the nefarious plots to disrupt Mizzou success (just look at all the NCAA employees over the years we have working as our double-agents). But actually the article was from a guy in SEC territory who probably doesn't even care much about Mizzou. Unless he's another lackey we put on the payroll. |

You threw out a blanket statement that the schedule was going to be horrendous the next few years and asked why they wouldn't consider picking up a mid-major with a pulse... even though 3/4 of the schedule is unknown and the mid-major on the slate next year is a team that has won 28 games the past 3 years and played in its conference title game each year. I don't expect big things from the 2015 schedule. I imagine it might look something like this year's (which is pretty respectable, really... I had no problem selling 4 non-premium seats this week for a grand total of $250 - $10 above face). If they can find a UCF like team, the OOC won't be horrendous. And, ultimately, playing in the SEC, even with the unbalanced schedule, Missouri plays in a division with 3 teams that will be ranked preseason more often than not (Georgia, Florida, South Carolina). The league has a conference championship game. That schedule overall is very, very rarely going to be "horrendous." |

The article posted is commenting on our OOC schedule, which is nowhere near complete. It reads like something PB would post. |
