Hmm. OK, I'll let him know. I doubt he going to change, though.

I am probably the least enthusiastic consumer of ketchup you'll run into, but I've reconciled myself to loving it on home fries/hashbrowns, on meatloaf, and on corned beef hash.

Stay away from my nuggies and my eggs, though.

No thanks to ketchup, unless it's meatloaf or maybe fries.

Gates is like goat puke if he got into the tomato garden. In fact Gates is a lot like catsup.

Gates X-tra Hot is a different animal. I don't hate regular Gates, just think it's meh. But Gates X-tra Hot is a definitive taste when you're in the mood for it.

Tempers the heat with celery instead of sweet. A good bridge between KC style and NC vinegar-hot.

I have cedar plank cedar in restaurants. It's delicious. I have a cedar plank and forgot all about it until now. Haven't used it.

My favorite salmon is:

1) Dijon mustard, dill, garlic and onion granules and some lemon
2) and/or served with creamy dill sauce
3)Asian salmon with toasted sesame oil, tamari or spy sauce, thinly sliced scallions, sweet rice vinegar mix; topped with toasted sesame seeds, is to die for. Few other ingredients I think. Doing this from memory.
It served over a bed of vegetables and rice. Gonna make it soon again

ketchup only on burgers for me.

But on meatloaf? WTF? That's supposed to be made with it's own sauce.

Well shit, I guess I can try the hot. I just know Gates is/has/always will be a stay away for me. Never have liked it and have more than given them a fair try.

Yeah, but meatlof sauce is essentially ketchup, . . . with a little brown sugar and Worchestershire or mustard.

p.s. Sorry George Blowfish
It sounds like you need a trip to a gas station for some of that shitty gas station BBQ.
