Let's talk about the 49ers (Super Bowl Edition)

Well Chiefs vs Packers is what I had hoped for, but that's not happening.

Let's talk about Chiefs vs 49ers here.

Maybe one day, the best defense on paper in the NFL will actually play, you know, great defense.

Maybe one day!

As a WC for this year, yeah, since Tennessee was 9-7 and Buffalo was 10-6, and if they gone 11-5, they would have been the #5 seed or the division champion, depending on several different outcomes.

But because the Chargers got horrible QB play, they went 5-11. They had a turnover differential of -17, tied for last with the Giants.

What's crazy is, LAC, as a team, giveaways were 20 INT's, 11 fumbles, for a total of 31. Rivers accounted 28 of it.

They do have a pretty good roster. If you don't have a good OL, they can turn your QB into dogmeat pretty fast.

Right. Now I can see it. Actually, I think I predicted them to go 10-6. Lost that bet too.

Thus in my opinion, strengthens my QB argument. Rivers put his defense in way too many bad spots, which degraded their defensive value, through no fault of the defense.

Can’t wait for this game.

The #2 ranked defense vs the #6 offense

Or...

The #4 ranked offense vs the #17 ranked defense

Can’t wait.

They played great defense last year and that was with arguably their best defender missing 9 games.

This year their other arguable best defender missed 11.

But I’m sure that has nothing to do with their underachieving!

If you think the Chiefs offense is playing like #6 or their defense is playing like #17, just stop posting. You’re wasting everyone’s time.

Without question. Which is why Rivers is moving to FL. He's done.

See, this is what I've been talking about. These fantroll guys (national media included) grab these stats, that either are out-dated or are so general as to be nearly meaningless, and then drop them here as if they mean something.

With no context, no correlation to anything. The #4 ranked offense in what context?

The #17th ranked defense how? When?

You’re absolutely right. I forgot where I was...

Chiefs are the #1 offense AND the #1 defense. While these “9ers” are the 37th ranked offense and defense. This won’t even be a game.

Wooooooo!!!!!!
