I finally started using my juicer after 8 years of it sitting idle on my kitchen counter. I make about 32 ounces at a time, which lasts me 1 or 2 days, and I rotate back and forth between fruits and vegetables. I get more fresh veggies in a blender full of juice than I used to eat in an average month, but boy is it brutal. I equate chugging a 12 oz glass of veggie juice with chugging a 12 oz glass of scotch. And don't get me started on beets. Out of everything, beets are the most brutal. Plus they make your pee look like blood. Crazy the energy rush juicing gives you though. Pretty sure I'm going to stick with it and make it part of my permanent routine. Even the beets.

What's For Dinner? Here's Mine Vol. 3.
Tried my hand at grinding my own meat and making burgers. So bought a chuck roast, ground that bad boy up and made some damn good burgers! I definitely approve of this. No pics, I was hungry.
Added some peas and sautéed mushrooms on the side. |
