I don't see Odom calling plays on D next year if he expects to move forward with his position as HC.
I think that's a pretty realistic ceiling, but I don't think they will ever get there with Odom.

It's going to become really grim in Columbia when he's got to rely on his own recruits. They need a guy that can turn the program from an outsider that gee goly I am really making the best out of being a mis-match in the SEC into an actual fit.

Rankings wise, they have been awful. There are several that are playing well right now. (I realize that over time, rankings matter.) An extension now would be ****ing stupid, but no chance he gets fired if Mizzou wins 6.

Mizzou gave Pinkel 15 years to try and win a championship and he still got to step down on his own. I doubt they cut Odom after 2 years.
