FedEx asks Redskins to change name
Here we go. I think part of the reason we’ve been safe from this kind of stuff is because the Redskins have always been a bigger target. Now that there’s pressure from sponsors Snyder is going to feel the heat like never before. If they go down, make no mistake, the mob will come for us next. |

Could be why this is taking so long to actually come out. The NFL is the goose that lays endless golden eggs for pretty much everybody so there's probably immense pressure behind the scenes from everybody to bury at least those allegations.

I'm still voting for white skins.
That shit would be hilarious. Suddenly it would be supremacist instead of derogatory. |

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-team-culture/ The organization has hired attorney Beth Wilkinson to “review the organization’s protocols,” according to Adam Schefter or ESPN.com. She is “expected to conduct a deep dive into the organization’s past culture.” Wilkinson specializes in representing corporate interests. She previously represented the NFL in class-action litigation filed over the Sunday Ticket package. She also has represented the NCAA in antitrust litigation brought by student-athletes, and she represented Philip Morris in class actions alleging that terms like “lights” and “lowered tar and nicotine” violate Missouri law by suggesting that Marlboro Lights weren’t as dangerous as regular Marlboro cigarettes. Earlier in her career, Wilkinson served as a prosecutor in the Oklahoma City bombing case. |

No...the issue is he paid refs to get the results they got, it says other teams too....that would be worse than paying for wins. That would basically mean the entire league is a sham...

yeah. depending on how long this went on and how many team owners were involved, that would mean that potentially every season and every Super Bowl going back to 1999 when Snyder took control of the Redskins could be illegitimate . Which would destroy the league. It's why I'm not sure I'm buying into it.

Man, it's sounding like a lot of people know what happened but don't want to touch being the first to report it. It's sounding like this is going to be really really bad.

Raiders in the top 3 for penalties per year for the past 40 years even though players and coaches changed.

Speaking of, I'm surprised at how absent BlackOp has been right now. You'd think this would be their moment to shine. |
