Too much hysteria over contracts that are going to be nbd by the time the actual new money portion would really kick in. |

We will have to see how it is structured because the current reporting is 6 year extension on top of his already 2 years left on his deal so it would be for a total of 8 years. |

In response to Zeke news...
Chris Mortensen @mortreport - 7 minutes ago Sense of urgency for obvious reasons. This deal is NOT done and has real issues to be resolved. Clock is ticking. |

And when the Cowboys have anything worth talking about, they'll REALLY talk about the Cowboys. So in lieu of complete information, you're gonna get anything they hear from anybody just as quickly as they hear it. This is just what happens when the Cowboys are actually part of the news cycle (as opposed to their ordinary practice of being irrelevant but forced into the news cycle anyway...) |

Huge mistake. Jerry is desperate and he doesn't have an elite QB that can win without a stud defense and a pound it RB. They will regret this contract next season.

The Chargers reportedly want a 1st and 5th for Melvin Gordon.

Everybody talks about the Amari, Zeke, and Dak contracts.. so where does that leave Byron Jones? Is he the odd man out? I would love to be able to trade for him, but I don’t think it’s very realistic since the cowboys actually have a shot to go deep

Just waiting for that CB trade that will never come..
It is clear that other teams are asking a lot for any decent CB that Veach might be interested in. |
