That sentence doesn’t have any meaning. If you are interested in actual odds I would recommend looking to the people that generate sports odds rather than spouting random crap.

By that logic, wouldn't 2020 have been our hangover year? Different sport, but the Royals came back to win a championship the year after losing one. It doesn't seem all that unlikely to me.

According to ESPN we are the 4th Seed and lose to the Browns in the Divisional round anyway...

I saw that. Somehow according to them we go 9-2 through the most difficult part of our schedule, but then go 2-4 through the easier part. They "predict" that this team only scores 12 in that playoff game. I just don't see that happening if Mahomes starts and has even a decent Oline.

He does have the Jaguars starting 4-1..and the Colts at 13-4 with the #2 seed.

Clickbait...

They will always hype up every KC opponent this season...everyone already knows the Chiefs are great. That would be boring to listen to every week...

Heading into the 2021 NFL season, ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) simulated the entire 285-game slate 20,000 times to create our projections. Having a sample size that large allows us to have the most accurate projections possible, which is, of course, what we want most of the time. But today, we're only focused on one of them: Simulation No. 13,330
They picked the one that would get clicks.

Wow. Just wow.

So in this computer simulation they chose out of the thousands they ran, Kansas City gets off to a 5-0 start, which is probably their toughest stretch of the schedule. They reach 9-2 later in the season. And from that point they tank all the way to 11-6.

I know it's just a random computer simulation they chose, but the Chiefs ain't ****ing going 2-4 with playoff seeding on the line against this lineup:

Broncos
Raiders
@Chargers
Steelers
@Bengals
@Broncos

They also have the Seahawks starting 0-8, the Ravens going 7-10, and the Jaguars making the playoffs as the 7th seed.

So... good job, ESPN. You showed us the results of a bunch of random dice throws. Congratulations.

If I wanted a simulation, I'd buy an android housemaid.

In other news, however ...

I'm getting nervous about this Skidmarks game. Especially if the Badger is sidelined with Fauxci's Coof.

In an ideal world, we would beat them by 20 points or more. But, as we are all aware, this world is far from ideal.
