Well what would happen with the old rules is that if the ball lands in the end zone and nobody touches it and the kick team falls on it it would be a touchdown. Correct?
However, the new rules who the hell knows? Stupid XFL gimmick stuff.

Kick hits in end zone, stays inbounds - returned or downed – if downed then touchback to B30 yard line

Seriously. People care about winning/losing this game? Are they aware that the starters were benched over an hour ago?

Ok.

I’m just confused because the endzone is not in the “landing zone” so how can a ball land beyond the landing zone and still be live?

How is it not a touchback as soon as it lands in the endzone?

Not Mecoles fault...he was bailing out Prince who was too ****ing dumb to realize the ball was live.

Unfortunately he barely touched the ball before establishing in the endzone, so when he pulled the ball in it was a safety.

These new kickoff rules ****ing suck.

No. What is worse is that if neither of these guys do anything and a Jaguar picked it up and just scored a touchdown.

Evert variable like this makes lesser teams have more of a shot. It's absolutely ridiculous

Good! Don’t want to lose him trying to lay the wood on some return man. Need him kicking game winning FGs in the playoffs.
