*****All Things Weather 2021*****

Talk about, report, and complain about weather here. It does not matter where you live. Talk about what you got. Snow, wind, hail, storms, virga, meatballs. Give information about what city is close to you. Pics are great too.

This map can be used by anyone and moved to your area. It is customizable for you and gives a lot of information.

Or maybe some will blow into my yard.

But I like my current brand, so I'll try to keep it.

Yeah. Schools are getting cancelled here. For wind. Where it’s always windy. This doesn’t bode well.

I saw one in Iowa too. If it is so windy, it could tip busses over.

This may be an inland tropical storm. Not Derecho. Have not heard that term used.

Dont forget to posts reports here.

Yes they just cancelled school here in gc. Get to sleep in!
Three years ago one of our barns jumped the tree row and landed in our back yard. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again. A 12 x 40 barn makes a hell of a crash!

Seeing some schools closing here about noon and 1. Gusts forecasted about that time around 30, up to 60 about 7.

Stay safe people!

We've had 100mph sustained wind before.

Flips sprinklers (not the yard kind) over like they are an empty kiddie pool.

**** this shit in December. WTF?!

I was going to see if I could hit some 450 yard drives but all the golf courses are closing due to wind.

Pretty windy here. Scarf weather. I love my scarf. But I lost my scarf tonight and I'm pretty upset.

They said last night that the damage will likely be nearly indistinguishable from a derecho. A derecho is an outflow boundary on a thunderstorm complex.

This is low pressure, sustained winds FED by an outflow boundary. They said we could have 80-100mph winds sustained for an hour.

This is actually setup WORSE than the August 2020 derecho for us.

Most of the schools in the area are letting out at noon.

This is honestly the first time I've ever seen this type of storm setup in December.

It was dark here for awhile.

There are some power outages around. I have, I think it's a cable line down in my alley.

It's still windy, but I can see the sky. Hopefully that's the worst of it.
