**** October 10th, Yankees at Royals ALDS Game 4 GDT ****

Time to shake off last night! The Royals have been relentless throughout this season, beating expectations time and again. Tonight the boys in blue are going to take Game 4 and send this series back to New York. Fans at the K be LOUD! These opportunities don't happen every year, or even every decade. Enjoy it!

Go Royals!

Great year, even if the ending to the regular season and the postseason kind of sucked.

Never thought they would have a 30 game improvement and get this far.

A lot to build on for next year and most of the major pieces are back.

Let’s do this shit again next October!

Maybe a bit father next time . . . .

The Yankees hitters made our pitchers throw strikes. Ours didn't. That was the difference in the series.

Stanton and Soto.

25 BB in 4 games and give up 14 total runs is a minor miracle.

Never expected to lose. Gave me all the vibes like Game 7 vs SF. Never thought they would lose.

We had 2 walks in 2 home games. For a team that sucks at hitting the ball, you have to manufacture runs by getting on base. We simply didn’t do that.

7 walks in 4 games. Wanna take a wild guess as to how many walks they had in Game 4?

That fly out from Isbel is gonna bake into my brain overnight

Certainly thinking whoever plays NY has a great shot to take them out. That’s not an exceptionally better team than anybody left. Biggest wallet, sure.

And then my favorite part - not sending guys on the team who can steal bases.

But I don't see how Perez's lack of plate discipline has any impact on the other players. Good baseball players come in all shapes and sizes. It's the front office's job to surround Perez with more OBP guys.

Yep, it's hard to get a walk when they swing at everything in and out of the strike zone. (That is, everybody but Garcia who chooses not to swing at all.)
