Our local Atwoods has the Liberty fat boy Jr 48 gun safe for $1k on sale. One hour fire rating.
Negatives are no electronic keypad and the biggest turnoff is no door accessory panel. That's another $150. It also weighs 760 lbs. Academy has a cannon 48 gun safe for $800 with electronic keypad but it's a tan interior color. Academy also had a stack on sentinel 64 gun safe for $900 down from $1k. Both the cannon and sentinel have the side panels. Stack on is a 30 minute fire rating and the cannon was one hour. I know the stack on is one of the lower end brands. Which should I purchase? |

what do you all think of the AR style shotguns:
http://defenderoutdoors.com/eaa-7000...61221-MKA-1919 I'd like to get a semi auto shotgun, and a magazine load would be nice, but I've never heard anyting either way on weather these are good options... |

I'm stuck here.
I've decided to bite the bullet and buy a bigger safe. My current one is a Liberty 24 gun 59"H x 28"W. I've outgrown it. I'm looking at a Sports Afield 60 gun, 72"H x 40"W, electronic lock, door accessory panel, 12-1.25" bolts, 40 minute fire rating at 1200 degrees, power outlet, and 732 lbs for $1510. Or Winchester big daddy 48 gun safe, 60"H x 42"W, electronic lock, door accessory panel, 14-1.5" bolts, power outlet, 75 minute fire rating at 1400 degrees, 804 lbs for $1634. I want size and safety. I'm not as concerned with fire safety as I'm close to a fire department. The interior on the Winchester is nice and it looks like the security is better. Made in America as well. The size of the Sports Afield is a huge turn on. The reviews on the Winchester are better. What would you do? |
