True. But now the fix isn't in to give Manning a Superbowl win so that he goes out on top. It's back to real life in Donkey land.

The league is completely fixed. Without a premier QB, you're going to find that referees have suddenly become very unfair.

Mark Sanchez better than Peyton Manning last year? That's hilarious.

Read the whole article but here is what a former scout thinks of Sanchez..

Errors are something Mark Sanchez is quite familiar with. You can argue that Manning, with his litany of interceptions, was about the worst type of “Game Manager” for a team that has to win with defense as you can find…and that would be a good argument!

But Manning remained great at the line of scrimmage and conducting the offense, even after his arm would not allow him to make difficult throws. He kept Denver out of bad plays before they started.

No quarterback on Denver’s roster will come close to doing that as well as Manning did. Sanchez certainly has a better arm than Manning, but Sanchez is inaccurate and doesn’t make good decisions with the ball, which also was the case with Manning last year.

The point here isn’t who is better between the 2015 version of Manning and the present version of Sanchez, but the point is that this team needs an Alex Smith type who will refuse to pull the trigger in many throws he should try, but also will not hurt the team with backbreaking turnovers. Sanchez isn’t that player at all.

Yes, every team needs an "Alex Smith"-type QB so we can all enjoy the delights of Prozac offense for 16+ weeks.
You're gonna' fit in great here, welcome aboard.

Screw that, I'm only accepting what they have now under the notion that he'll be dinged up or benched by week 5. And, given the state of the OL, that is a big possibility.

Maybe they'll go Dan Reeves early 90s and rotate QBs every other drive. I don't know if many remember that, but Elway was hurt and I believe they did that for a few games. What a clusterf*** that was.

Final four games (for home field and playoffs) he threw one interception, do you think Sanchez will have a similar streak this year?
