I wouldn't want to be connected to Ersay either. What Manning has done for his franchise and listening fans should have factored $$$

I agree Denver is going to be better this year. Wilson will be better than last season. Not great, but better.

It's still not going to be enough. They might go on a roll and crack .500 but they will still be watching the playoffs from the couch.

They might even break the streak this year. Statistically, it has to happen sometime. But even that will be a meaningless moral victory. They will be forgotten in the postseason.

I guess that it was all time great players, not just quarterbacks.

Looking up pass coverage abilities of Denver ILBs led me to this trivia nugget.

The entire list of people that have intercepted Mahomes multiple times in a single game:

I don’t remember him being so vocal when his team was beating up on the AFCS, and the couple years in the West.

Q Joe's going to quit touting PFF if they keep releasing stuff like this...

20. RUSSELL WILSON, DENVER BRONCOS
Wilson ranked 26th in PFF passing grade last season and 29th in overall grade. It’s difficult to overstate how bad his first year in Denver was and how much uncertainty that paints his future in. Sean Payton has been brought in to make the best of a disastrous situation, but exactly where Wilson can land on the spectrum between last season and his best play in Seattle is pure guesswork. Given his visible decline in athleticism, it seems likely that his baseline is closer to last year than his peak, but he is a player with a wide range of outcomes.

I think that’s being very generous!

No, I've read that on Broncos boards. I've also seen a PFF article that claimed he had a down year last season.

I don't put much stock into anything PFF says, especially if career highs in INTs and forced fumbles is a "down year".

Interesting report from B/R. I’m not buying it.

If Denver was Russ’ #1 choice, and Seattle had no leverage, as this report indicates, why was Seattle able to rape Denver so bad in draft capital.

This doesn’t pass the smell test . . . . .
