That actor WENT for it, man. And I have no idea who that is, but that's gotta be a ActOR, right? Like that's classical training shit; that kind of power in your voice and inflection is pretty incredible. And you understood every single word he said; so many of those moments of rage and anger end up undiscernible but his diction was impeccable.

Just damn well done.

As good as the entire franchise has had this side of Charles Dance.

Hard to see anyone besting Dance when Tywin was on a roll, but this guy came damn close. Right there with Tyrion's sneering 'confession' for the best non-Dance moments, IMO.

(then again, there's a surprising amount of really bad acting in this universe when you get right down to it; the bar's not quite as high as you'd hope)

Loved Daemon and Rhaenyra's fight. That was pretty peak acting for the franchise.

He’s a true thespian.

I thought Aegon did a really good job this episode as well and am enjoying his characterization. He’s definitely at least a couple parts sniveling **** but equal parts chill dudebro.

that's right - he was in little nicky, wasn't he? Nicky's brother, right?

Dude preens around like a prog rocker the whole time.

What a bizarre career. And for that, we thank him...
