Makes me think he could thrive in our room.
Ramsey appears to be an asshole when they suck.

Peters was just an asshole.

Man I really hope you guys don’t get your hopes up to the point that you feel like we’re screwed when we inevitably don’t land him.

There are still options and we have yet to see the defense with Claiborne.

Ramsey gets a ring, becomes a Chiefs legend for helping us win one.

Because he plays well and is a Super Bowl champion, his value only increases.

We thank him for his service and send him and his ring to his preferred destination (i.e. Tennessee) where he can get his money and live comfortably.
We extend Chris Jones and draft a corner with the pick we flipped Ramsey for.

****ing huge win-win all the way around.

Uh, I don't really see why we wouldn't get him. For better or worse, Veach will smash the bid button for a talent if he wants them bad enough. If Ramsey fits that bill for Veach so be it

Most teams are going to know they need to pay him. But for KC you MIGHT be able to sell on just coming for the ring this year.

I don’t think any team is going to be willing to part with a crazy set of picks for that reason (contract)

Disagree sutton stuck around one year too many, Peter's main issue was with him I dont disagree with the trade but a Peter's new DC scheme last year would have been a good thing

I don't think he is anywhere near Peters. He wants to cover and he wants to tackle... I just think we shouldn't overpay... If the deal is right, I think it would be good and I think he would be a good team mate.

That's what I'd like to happen. Keep him 2 years, win a bowl then look at recouping some of our draft losses.
