Since the SB over a decade ago he ran into Cam Newton and Matt Ryan having good teams and didn’t win the division for 5 years despite having a HOF QB in his prime.

He’s not taking over the division from Andy and Patrick, especially with no draft picks.

Who cares???? Denver is a totally different team and this is a different league. What the Saints did does not matter. Your argument is litterally "The Saints won the Super Bowl, so Denver will also." Makes ZERO sense.

When the Saints won it, did they have to go through Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Lawrence, Herbert, Jackson etc., with a shit QB and not much assets to build a team? NO!

Plenty of those QB's had years where they looked like they lost it and then rebounded from it:

Elway had a 10-17 TD/INT ratio when he was 32 and then went on to have the best 6 year stretch of his career.

Some people thought Manning was washed when he first came to Denver. His arm was shot. He learned how to compensate for it, though.

Favre threw 22 TD's and 22 INT's at age 39 and then went on to throw 33 TD's and 7 INT's the following year in Minnesota.

Rodgers had the two lowest 16 game TD totals of his career before he won back-to-back MVP's at age 37 and 38.

Tom Brady was considered washed numerous times over the last decade, only to have back-to-back 40 TD seasons at age 43 and 44.

Especially considering no coach has ever won Super Bowls with two different teams.

He went 5-0 with Teddy Bridgewater in 2019. Teddy turned that into 3 year, $63M deal in Carolina.

In 2021 he went:

5-2 with Jameis Winston
4-1 with Taysom Hill
0-4 with Trevor Siemian
0-1 with Ian Book

Personally I think Russel's bounce back depends more of the offensive line and Javonte regaining his health. Don't see Russell ever dropping back 50 times a game and being successful like those on the list above. Maybe wrong but I think the we have to have Russ Cook is going to lead to starvation.

Wilson was never HOF-worthy, and the older, fatter version is nowhere close. Keep getting your hopes up, though. Some day....

Prime future HOF Russ was a terrible teammate who actively asked ownership to fire the coach and GM.
