I'm tempering expectations.

My heart says 28 TDs and 12 INTs but my head says be ready for something like 20 TDs and 15 INTs.

"Chicken little"? All I said was it was a gross pass and it was ****ing dumb. Not like I said his development was doomed and he's a bust.

Young QBs throw INTs. The great Deshaun Watson threw 8 in 6 games last year. Andrew Luck, the most "pro ready" QB to come out in awhile threw 18 INTs his first year. It takes time and experience.
Peyton Manning averaged 20 picks per season through his first 5 years. It wasn’t until year 6 that he threw fewer than 15 in a season.

Ah, so that's all you've got now? It's okay, your little freakout has been mocked enough. Let's move on and hope Mahomes learns from his mistake.

Mahomes INT rate will only look high because of Smiths abnormally low rate created by his safe style of play.

I'd be thrilled if Mahomes only throws 13. I'm record for saying he throws 30tds 20 INTs

A TD:INT ratio of 2:1 is really exceptional.

Manning went 10-6 3x, 12-4 2x, 13-3 2x & 14-2 1x when throwing over 15 INTs in a season. A 3-13 rookie year and 6-10 in his 4th year being the outliers. His lowest INT mark in a season was 9, every other season was 10+.

Well. It’s over. Fun while it lasted.

Threw a pick in camp. Let’s cut him, and trade for Bradford, and win a championship with a great run game and all time defense.
