Shaquem Griffin. Would U draft him?

Play GM. Would you draft him after seeing his performance at combine? If so what round do you think he goes in?
Read a good article on him about the chip on his shoulder and living in the football facility at UCF on an air mattress.
I had heard about him early last season but never watched UCF play till their bowl game. Then he was chasing down RBs and sacking the QB, it wasn’t till over halfway thru the game that I realized he only had one hand.
Article I read said he was suited for a 3-4 defense and needed to put on some weight. And was better suited for zone as opposed to man to man. And would probably have to move from outside to inside LB

For a lineman or a CB it may be, but he's proven himself to be an excellent player with one hand, and he can still help wrap up with the other arm. It's not like he's going to be jamming people at the line or hand-fighting in the trenches.

He's definitely mastered his ability. I would love to have him and I wouldn't see a downside.

With his speed he might be the extra LB/S type that we keep in on certain sets to help against the run and pass depending on what the offense does in those down and medium distance situations instead of Sorenson or another safety.

Thanks for the vid! That INT in coverage was great. What I’m most impressed with is his tackling. He wraps up every single one of them! It’s not trying to knock guys over with his shoulder pads. Maybe he can teach our guys how to tackle!

Not with a high pick. The NFL isn't college and there is a question as to whether he'll be able to shed and wrap with one hand. If he was around in the 5th he'd be worth a shot. Just mho.

Don’t disagree but at ILB he’s gonna be asked to do a lot

I think he’s be great in the hybrid ILB safety role

Take him in the 3rd. He'd be the perfect hybrid dime linebacker.

I'd be tempted. Kid can play. If you watched UCF games, you constantly saw him. He will be a glue guy in the locker room and on practice field.

We need speed on this defense and players with great instincts. He has all of that with a ton of talent.
