Is Trevor Lawrence a bust and vastly overrated?

This is really shocking to me how this guy has fallen off a cliff and the Jags are really in decline.

I don't follow them with a microscope to look at every injury or player transaction but what the hell has happened to them?

Is Doug Pederson not really great?
Was Trevor overrated from the start?
Is it all about a bad team and no weapons?
Key injuries?

He is looking bad, throwing bad picks, missing guys all over.

Almost playing like Zach Wilson

Can someone tell me how he is 0-8 in his last 8.

Trevor was terrible as a rookie under Meyer.

Then got some real coaching from Jim Bob Cooter.

Cooter left and Pederson has not helped him.

I don’t really watch the Jaguars, but what seems to be his issue? I assume he’s a (mostly) accurate thrower, so do people think his hang up is mental? Either he’s too skittish and not poised? Or he’s dumb?

Either way, I’m sure once he gets ousted and bounces around a bit he’ll make a fine Andy Reid reclamation project

His positives were his plus arm and athleticism.

His negatives were always mental. I watched a video of him pre-draft throwing to college linebackers in the middle of the field and the person doing the video just glossed over that and still said, nope, don't care. He's the greatest QB prospect of the last 20 years.

Some QB's need the right coach.

If Trevor gets a genius OC like Goff did in Detroit next year I'm buying again.

For now, him and Pederson not good enough.

Jim Bob Cooter is the current offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts.

Good for him. I bet Jax would take him back in heartbeat right about now.

Cooter has been known to be a QB whisperer.

He just won't get a top job because of his past.
