Ketchup on on hot dog IS empirically 'odd.' It's not bad, just odd. With the right balance of cheapo yellow mustard and cheapo sweet pickle relish and cheapo buns, it's white trash heaven. It tastes like 4th of July, if you're not the one in charge of the grill.

same w/taters. but i'm old and i've broke bread with a lot of people that sop their meat and spuds with everything else that's on their plate with a piece of bread in one and and a fork in the other. it's all going to the same place...piss on it. mustard makes me gag. sec |

I used to put A1 on my steaks but then I stopped doing that. Now I just eat them with salt and pepper and some various rubs and a little basted butter at the end.
No ****ing way would I put ketchup on a steak. Burgers, fries, hotdogs/brats and I'm not sure what else off the top of my head. Also, **** horseradish with my prime rib. Why is that shit a mandatory condiment for prime rib? Give me the ****ing juice (au jus). |
