Your Biggest Regret So Far In Life

The question is simple: What your biggest regret so far in life?

It could be anything. It could be something you did or didn't do.

For me, so far, it'd have to be turning down an opportunity to go to a World Series game.

Second biggest would be not appreciating my family more when I was younger.

Not dropping everything and committing to poker back in 2003 during the poker boom. Instead picking it back up again in 2011 after millions and millions could have been won. Missed all of the super easy games.

Wish I did way more drugs when I was younger.

Wish I tried less in HS and college, academically.

Wish I didnt waste so much time playing golf when I was younger.

Not taking my time in the Air Force more seriously during the last couple of years. I decided after that I had been in for 2 years of a 4 year enlistment that I wasn't going to re-enlist and proceeded to party and **** around for the last 2 years. I wish I would have taken it more seriously and gotten my degree while I was in. I also wish that I would have paid more attention to my job because after I got out...I had an opportunity in the civilian world that I missed out on because I didn't know my job as well as the other people that had applied.

OP, shouldn’t yours be being a Rams fan and joining a Chiefs message board?

Or how about being a fan of a shitty fan base that couldn’t even keep football in St Loius?

Not taking diabetes very seriously when I was first diagnosed. When you’re in your lower to mid 20s, you think your invincible.

I’ve been “good” for five years or so (A1C this month was 5.9), but diabetes is a real bitch. If you have good health, everything else is a cherry.

Can you really imagine waking up everyday, the rest of your life, without those memories of your adventures as a young man? **** THAT!!!!!!! Its was the best of times and then it was the BEST OF TIMES!
Some of the experiences I would never trade away. However I should have been able to retire very comfortably 5-7 years ago but I will be working instead until I'm 163 years old.

Thx for your honesty. As the majority of people feel just like you but will rarely admit to it like you just did.

Working for a company that didnt appreciate me for 14 years. Switched to their biggest competitor two years ago and started off making more than I did when I left the previous. After only a year in moved up to management and a year after that got a substantial raise. Its crazy looking back how much better life could have been had I been making this kind of money when my kids were young.
