Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

This offseason just became a lot less interesting.

I don't wanna come across as sounding like the "im done with this team forever" guys, but there comes a point in which you realize that you are rooting for a perennial loser. I have to wonder if this team will ever get better. No matter who is in charge, they continue to repeat the same mistakes.

If we gave up our second, it means not only will we be passing on Geno, we'll also be passing on the scraps that may have been left in the early second. **** that.

The Chiefs continue to go with other team's castoff QBs. All that does is delay the inevitable. Dumb

Yep. I'm not done with them. I'm just becoming more apathetic. I mean if I watch them, great. But if I start missing games, I don't think I'll miss it.

It's starting to become like being a fan of the Royals. What's the point?

IF this is true. This is the worst day in franchise history. I will not watch a game this year if it is true. I will not spend another dime on this team.

I would rather have Casshole play a year grooming Geno to take over and lose all 16 than do this bullshit...we're throwing away about 4 years of our football lives. /There I said it.
