You can make up for a little less sand in your lower body by having good leverage and with his arm length, he should be able to do that alright.

I mean here's no reason at all he couldn't be a better blocker than Kelce and Kelce has become no worse than average when the team asks that sort of thing from him.

I don't think it's impossible or anything, I think for this year though, he's not gonna be much of a blocker which is why I think Irv Smith has a real shot of making the team.

Y'know, Irv's another pretty solid example.

Came into the league as a guy who was viewed strictly as a move TE but over his career has probably evolved into a better blocker than receiver.

Ultimately that's because his receiving skills never really seemed to advance while his blocking has, but he's a more levery guy who's become someone who's gonna stick in this league as a 3rd TE that can help in big sets because he'll get inline and hit someone.

I'm wondering if Clyde is having a serious mental breakdown with the PTSD stuff. As in, serious enough the Chiefs better have a Plan B for his roster spot.

They probably won't because that would leave the backup RB spot to guys who've never really done it.

CEH was a very good backup last year. We are paying him nearly the vet minimum. He's not a #1 but he's a good #2 for the cost and the Chiefs trust him.

Yeah - as far as backup RBs go, he's fine. I'd like to see the RB3 improved, but RB2 is no worse than most teams are looking at right now.

He's fine. He's mediocre as **** and a bad 1st round pick, but that's a sunk cost. He had some nice plays for us last season and would be a fine carryover from last season at RB2.

Well, he also can't be counted on to actually play so....that's not good.

Yea he's not really an issue, it's more we didn't replace McKinnon's role so that 3rd down RB spot seems to be a real hole.
