****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

It's gonna be really frustrating if we squander by far the best defense Mahomes has had, and one of the last productive years of Kelce, in a year where no other team looks dominant, because Reid and Co were too stubborn to admit they have the worst WR corps in the league.

I get not wanting to sell out the future. But you can sell it out a little while you have a legit Superbowl contender.

You can see the plays are there. Mahomes having the flu and some bad luck is the only reason we didn't explode on offense again.

Chiefs will get it figured out.

How many other teams in the NFL would want *any* of our WRs, other than maybe Rice, as even their WR3?

The flu doesn’t have anything to do with Pat. He doesn’t trust his receivers at all. We are getting open a lot. He just doesn’t trust them to let the ball go. We lead the league in dropped passes

I dunno, besides Chicago our offense has looked pretty choppy during the season.

With the exception of Jacksonville, we’ve played a cream puff schedule

No. I think that it’s just speaking from an understanding that tons of second round picks actually bust. Mecole Hardman is a limited player, but the things he’s good at, he’s elite at. Returning punts and gadget plays always have a chance at a house call when he gets the ball in space.

I'd out Mecole as a little below expectation for a 2nd rounder, but not bust.

Skyy is looking like a Speaks-level bust.

But Rice is looking like he could be the steal of the draft. So that's nice.

So instead of throwing to open WRs he doesn't trust, hes throwing balls away, throwing ints, taking sacks and handing the ball to CEH.
