It's easy if we free up Chris Jones. The first thing that always happens is base salary becomes bonus. And he's due big base this year. Its not even a restructure because it's the natural way you'd do an extension anyway

The bills are in such cap debt that they can't squeeze out very much and it turns their long term cap from unmanageable to impossible. Their desperation makes them a player, sure. But The chiefs on the other hand can easily do it. The only thing holding them back is if they want to

By restructuring him they basically guaranteed the next three years at $27m/year just to squeeze a tiny bit of savings this year. Their cap is boned going forward.

Thank god the Bills didn’t just stay put and draft Justin Jefferson.

Iirc, according to Chris Simms, Josh's turnovers weren't all his problem alone. Apparently, Josh had improved in the T/O department with Daboll, but last season without him, Josh's turnovers became a problem again, particularly in the RZ. So play-calling was a significant factor, not just Josh regressing. It remains to be seen whether Dorsey has learned from last season and has made adjustments accordingly, or if he's going to continue to call the same types of plays that got Josh into so much trouble in that regard last season. |

the Bills window has come and gone. There is always any given Sunday luck but they’re shot passed within 13 seconds.
