I bought a plunger for the toilet yesterday. You just never know when you are going need to use it. If you don't have one and it starts to over flow you could be up a shit creek without a paddle.

I have a short play showing this weekend in NYC. Exciting for me because this play is the first one I've had produced in NYC. The theater is in Manhattan, on Broadway; not what would be considered the Theater District, but I'll take it.

I had to go to Target tonight for a few things and I noticed that paper towels are really damn expensive. I'm not just talking about name brands, either. Even the crappy, never tear right, paper dust having, scratchy as hell paper towels are expensive, too.

What the shit?

You're better off to suck it up and buy shit in bulk at Costco or Sam's Club. That's what we do and we've been on the same paper towels for about 3 months now.

I usually buy in bulk, but money is a little tight. I ended up just buying 2 rolls to get us through the week. Granted, I went with the cheap ones.

It just pisses me off. I stood there for 5 minutes trying to decide if I wanted to pay $1.50/roll or $10.00/8 rolls.

I hate spending money on stuff you're just going to throw away.
