You almost certainly don't have last year's ring.

This season? Well, maybe it'll even out - who knows? I mean not having Reid isn't the end of the world; Cook/Edwards would be more then credible. But I think you're right that they wouldn't have Taylor. They probably WOULD have Wylie?

So you're down McDuffie and Reid and you've swapped out Taylor for Wylie. Would I make that move to have Hill for this season and next? Hmmm....probably.

But I don't think we win the SB without the moves we were able to make last season and the contributions of McDuffie. So it's a long-way between here and being upside down on the deal.

Then you're cap tapped out and likely gonna have to start cutting/not be able to keep any of these draft picks.

Again, maybe that's fine. But keeping Tyreek and Pat on that deal likely means no Chris Jones this year and you're gonna have to just keep drafting.

Why would we be capped out? If the cap was an issue, they wouldn't have added 40mil to mahomes cap space while only creating $2.5mil in space this year.

Yeah because there's no way to win a Superbowl with Tyreek.

That must have been why you were so adamant on trading him before the trade went down. Oh wait....

Is that what I said?

The irony is that it's people like you that act like not trading Tyreek still guarantees last year's SB and probably more.

News flash: it doesn't work like that....

It's the route I would have taken. There's more than 1 way to skin a cat. What Veach did worked. I think what I would have done would have worked also.

But again, if trading hill was the only way to win a Superbowl, why were you against trading him right up until it happened?

Like I said, there's definitely something to the case of just keeping your elite elite players in their prime and filling in the rest.

The problem becomes, you're asked them to be elite elite every game every snap. If they aren't, you're not winning.

The Chiefs probably don't win the Bengals AFCCG without McDuffie.

Sneed got injured on the 4th play of the game. McDuffie picked up the slack and did a fantastic job on Chase. It enabled us to leave him on an island and double the other WR.

Also don't think we win yesterdays game with Tyreek. Broncos dropped 3 deep every snap like we are about to do on Sunday.

You really are this ****ing reeruned, huh?

We're clearly operating in hindsight here dumbass. Not even I thought the Chiefs would win a SB last year.

But they did and morons like you don't jsut get to pretend that they easily do it without the moves they made that got them there.

And that's fine. Kicking money down only backfires if a player declines. That's why we don't really care that we have Mahomes that 40mil extra over the next 4 years. Because we don't expect him to decline. I didn't expect Tyreek to decline so that's why I would have signed him. I didn't expect that he would be the best non-QB in the league though. That would have just been the cherry on top.
